The National Conference on ‘Viksit Bharat @2047 Steps Towards Prosperity

KVGIT, in collaboration with VMOU, successfully hosted the National Conference on ‘Viksit Bharat @2047: Steps Towards Prosperity’, fostering knowledge sharing and creative problem-solving for a sustainable and regenerative future. The conference focused on key growth areas essential for India’s development, including economic progress, technological advancements, sustainable policies, and global competitiveness. Discussions also highlighted India’s rise as a global economic leader and a hub for skilled talent. Eminent speakers, corporate experts, and academic scholars addressed contemporary challenges and opportunities, emphasize about innovation, job creation, and entrepreneurship as pillars of a resilient India. The event saw active participation from students and professionals, engaging in discussions and research presentations. The conference concluded with a shared commitment to building an inclusive and progressive India by 2047, aligning intellectual discourse with national aspirations.

Fresher’s Party

Fresher’s Party offering a warm and vibrant welcome to the new batch. Organized by senior students, the event featured energetic performances in dance, music, and drama, along with fun games and interactive sessions to help fresher’s bond. The highlight was the Ms. Fresher’s Contest, where students showcased their confidence. The celebration ended on a high note with an interactive session by Judges. The event was a resounding success, fostering new friendships and setting the stage for an exciting academic year.

Inter-School Cultural Programme

The RUBAROO Interschool Cultural Programme brought together students from various schools to showcase their artistic talent through dance, music, drama, and poetry. The event featured exciting competitions, fostering creativity and camaraderie. The enthusiasm of participants made it a grand success, concluding with an award ceremony honouring outstanding performances. It was a vibrant celebration of culture and talent, leaving everyone inspired.

International Day for Biosphere Reserve

The International Day for Biosphere Reserves was celebrated to promote biodiversity conservation and sustainable development. The event featured expert talks, interactive discussions, and exhibitions on ecosystem protection. Participants engaged in sessions on climate change and conservation strategies, followed by a plantation drive and awareness rally. The celebration successfully emphasized the importance of biosphere reserves and inspired environmental stewardship.

Techspardha an Inter-College Fest

The annual Techspardha inter-college fest, brought together tech enthusiasts from various institutions. The event featured thrilling competitions, including coding challenges, robotics, hackathons, and technical quizzes, showcasing innovation and problem-solving skills. Workshops and expert talks provided valuable insights into emerging technologies, while project exhibitions highlighted creative solutions by young minds. The fest concluded with an award ceremony, recognizing outstanding talent and innovation. Techspardha was a grand success, fostering collaboration, learning, and a passion for technology among participants

International Student’s Day

To celebrate International Student’s Day celebrated by organizing the Rising Star an Art Competition. The event provided a platform for students to showcase their talents in art, drawing sketching, painting, and more, celebrating diversity and creativity. Students expressed themselves through various art designs, promoting cultural exchange and unity. The event concluded with enthusiastic applause and recognition for the most impactful performances. The Rising Star event was a huge success, providing students with an opportunity to shine.

The Sports Arena Inter-School Competition

The Sports Arena inter-school competition was held at KVGIT bringing together schools from across the region for a day of fierce yet friendly competition. The event featured a range of sporting activities, including athletics, basketball, football, and volleyball, with teams battling for the top spots. Students displayed impressive athleticism and teamwork, with each event drawing enthusiastic crowds. The competition not only showcased physical prowess but also emphasized the values of discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship. The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where the top-performing schools and individuals were recognized for their outstanding achievements. Youth Parliament Inter-College Competition

The inter-college Youth Parliament competition at KVGIT simulates a parliamentary session where students from various colleges debate and discuss current issues, political topics, and legislation. Participants represent political parties or roles, promoting public speaking, leadership, and critical thinking

Linked-innovate Prompting your future

KVGIT hosted a Faculty Development Program (FDP) titled “Linked- Innovate: Prompting Your Future,” focused on empowering educators with innovative teaching strategies and LinkedIn networking tips. The session highlighted ways to enhance academic networking, share knowledge, and foster collaborations. Experts provided guidance on optimizing LinkedIn profiles, building professional connections, and staying with current industry trends. The program successfully equipped faculty with valuable skills to innovate teaching and engage more effectively with their professional communities.

FDP On Heart fullness Myth and Reality

KVGIT hosted an insightful Faculty Development Program (FDP) webinar by Heartfulness titled “Alice in Wonderland,” focusing on mindfulness and self-awareness. Drawing from the classic story, the session encouraged educators to embark on a journey of self-discovery, offering practical tools for mental clarity, emotional well-being, and mindful teaching. Heartfulness experts guided participants through meditation techniques, emphasizing balance, focus, and resilience. The event inspired faculty to incorporate mindfulness practices into their routines, enhancing both their personal growth and classroom effectiveness.

Webinar on Organic Farming

An Online Workshop on Organic Farming was conducted to bringing together; farmers, agricultural enthusiasts, and experts to explore sustainable farming practices. The session covered key topics like soil health, natural fertilizers, pest management, and eco-friendly cultivation techniques. Experts shared insights on increasing productivity while maintaining environmental balance, followed by an interactive Q&A session. Participants gained valuable knowledge on transitioning to organic farming. The workshop was highly informative and successful, encouraging sustainable agriculture and inspiring attendees to adopt eco- friendly farming methods.

FDP On Power of Habits

KVGIT recently organized a one- day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “The Power of Habits,” aimed at helping educators understand the impact of habits on personal and professional growth. The sessions covered the science behind habit formation, strategies to cultivate positive habits, and how to overcome negative patterns. Expert speakers shared practical insights and techniques for enhancing productivity, focus, and overall well-being. The program was well- received, with participants gaining valuable tools to foster both personal development and effective teaching practices

FDP On Change Management

KVGIT organized a Faculty Development Program (FDP) focused on “Change Management,” designed to equip educators with the skills to navigate and manage change effectively. The sessions explored strategies for embracing change, overcoming resistance, and leading teams through transitions. Experts provided practical insights into managing organizational change and fostering adaptability in both academic and professional settings. The FDP was highly engaging, empowering faculty with tools to implement change successfully in their teaching environments and beyond.

Scout & Guide: Leading with Courage, Serving with Heart

Scout & Guide Volunteers Lead Community Service Initiatives Scout & Guide unit actively participated in various events and social service activities, including cleanliness drives, tree plantation, first-aid training, and awareness campaigns. They organized leadership workshops, disaster preparedness drills, and community outreach programs, fostering teamwork and social responsibility. Their dedication to service, discipline, and nation-building continues to inspire fellow students.

YOGA SESSION

A yoga session was conducted to promote physical and mental well-being. A certified yoga instructor guided participants through various asana, breathing exercises, and meditation techniques. The session emphasized the benefits of yoga in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and managing stress effectively.

Pot Painting Workshop

A creative pot painting workshop was conducted to encourage artistic expression and environmental awareness. Participants painted pots with vibrant designs and messages promoting sustainability. The event provided a platform for students to showcase their creativity while highlighting the importance of eco-friendly practices.

A health check-up camp was organized to promote awareness about personal health and hygiene. Medical professionals conducted free check-ups, including blood pressure monitoring, diabetes screening, and general consultations.

A self-defence training session was held to equip students, especially female participants, with basic techniques for personal safety. Experienced trainers demonstrated practical moves and shared valuable tips on self-protection.

A heartfulness meditation session was organized to enhance mindfulness and inner peace. Participants learned relaxation techniques and engaged in guided meditation exercises

The NSS unit of our institution visited a local orphanage as part of its community outreach program. Volunteers engaged with children through interactive activities and educational sessions while distributing essential supplies.

Visit to Old-Age Home

A visit to a local old-age home was arranged, where NSS volunteers spent quality time with the elderly residents. The volunteers engaged them in conversations, performed cultural activities, and distributed essential items. This activity fostered a sense of empathy and social responsibility among students

The Red Ribbon Club has played a significant role in educating, empowering, and inspiring students to become active contributors to society. Through its various initiatives, the club continues to promote health awareness, social service, and a sense of responsibility among young individuals. Moving forward, RRC aims to expand its outreach, collaborate with more organizations, and create a lasting impact on public health awareness and community well-being.
