World Food Day, celebrated on October 16 each year, marks the founding of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations in 1945. Its significance lies in raising awareness about the global issues of hunger, food security, and malnutrition. It highlights the importance of sustainable agriculture and the necessity to ensure that every person has access to sufficient, nutritious food. World Food Day brings attention to the need for global solidarity to fight hunger and achieve Zero Hunger by 2030, as part of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The day also serves to celebrate the progress made in food production and innovation, while emphasizing the ongoing challenges posed by climate change, conflicts, and inequality.
RUBAROO 24

The primary objective of “RUBAROO 24” is to foster creativity, collaboration, and healthy competition among students from different schools. This event aims to provide a platform for students of classes X, XI, and XII to showcase their talents across various categories including academics, arts, and co-curricular activities.
This event is to encourage teamwork and peer learning in a competitive yet supportive environment. Foster a spirit of innovation, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Also to promote cultural exchange and friendship among students from diverse backgrounds.
By participating in “RUBAROO 24”, students will gain exposure to new experiences, develop new skills, and create memories that will enrich their academic and personal growth.

The event “Debate on Literacy with Technology” was organized by the BCA students of the Computer Science Department, KVGIT, to celebrate “World Literacy Day”. This event unlocked potential, fostered critical thinking, and innovative learning experiences, enabling participation in a global, interconnected world.
